Master of Arts (Research)
Master of Arts (Research) program helps students to engage in their research by developing their skills in reading, analytical thinking and writing. The student will complete the program in two years’ time estimates, 60 credits.
This program deepens one’s understanding in their specialized field of research in the areas of theological studies, biblical studies, practical theology and historical theology. The graduates of this program will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the chosen area of research.
The student is required to submit a 40, 000 word thesis. The program could be completed either by thesis or by coursework and thesis.
ADMISSION POLICY
The prospective student must meet the following requirements to be enrolled in Master of Arts (Research).
(a) The General Requirements:
- Completed Application Form
- Letter of Recommendation from the church
- Photograph of student with white-background
- A copy of govt-issued Identity Card
- Christian Testimony (how you got saved, your christian ministry experience)
(b) Program-specific requirements:
- Bachelor degree in biblical / theological field from recognized seminary/ university. The transcript must show an outstanding academic performance.
- An essay about your commitment in christian ministry (2 pages).
- Proof of involvement in christian ministry for three years.
- An article on “Inspiration of the Bible” ( 2 – 3 pages).
- Submission of Bachelor degree thesis.
- List of Publications (Books, Journal Articles, … etc).
- Academic Reference from a Professor.
